krishnarukmini Institute of Nursing was started in the year 1986 under the management of Karnataka krishnarukmini Seva Trust. The institute follows a belief that ‘Service to the Society is Service to the God’, which means that if we do good for the benefit of the society we will get good in return as well. The institute believes that providing services to the mankind is the greatest blessing one could get. This nursing college like different others is affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences and is recognized by Government of Karnataka, Karnataka Nursing Council and Indian Nursing Council.
Nursing profession demands the person to be kind and compassionate toward sick people which require proper education and training. The high demands of nurses in healthcare sectors led this institute to initiate the course of B.Sc. nursing from 2009. Firstly during the institution’s establishment, there was two years course named Female Health Assistant which was later upgraded with Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery in the year 1988. Later again the General Nursing and Midwifery course got upgraded to B.Sc. Nursing under the affiliation of Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences and approval of Karnataka Nursing Council and Indian Nursing Council.
This nursing institute has been serving in the field of nursing education for past 29 years. The college is located in the beautiful city of Bangalore and is well- known for the course of B.Sc. Nursing it offers to the students. The institute has been proud to achieving excellent results by the students in University Examination. The Mission of krishnarukmini Institute of Nursing is to produce professional nurses who practice their technical skills with regard to the ethics and values of nursing.
