This college provides courses like; General Nursing and Midwifery, B.Sc. Nursing, Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing and M.Sc. Nursing. Why RR College of Nursing, Bangalore?
RR College of Nursing covers the area of 25 acres of land space with the classrooms, libraries, laboratories, seminar halls and learning center which has been designed with the conscientious attention to every details and clean utilization of space which makes it a perfect scenery in which the students demands to pursue higher education. The college provide facilities like; classrooms designed to encourage and stimulate the close interaction between the students and faculty at the same time providing their own space to the individuals. The library is spacious with over 8000 volumes of books apart from the e-journals and online references provided to the students. Various AV aids with projectors and extensive CDROMS with AV section houses are also provided for the student convenience. There are about four computer laboratories each with a capacity of 100 students with a systematic network configured to allow internet access and the labs are extended with few hours to enable students for working till late hours. The campus arena is enabled with Wi-Fi to the students with a high tech facility where students can get on-line anywhere inside the campus without any difficulty. The college owns their own transport thus the students will have no problem in transporting to places which are assigned as curricular or extra-curricular activities by the college itself. The college also possess an 200 seated auditorium built to international standards which is equipped with full-fledged audio-visual, digital projection system, and a stage for the overall activities held throughout the session along with the amphitheater in accommodation to minimum of 2500 students. The hostel is separate for the girls and boys with facilities to cater all the students from all over the country as well as abroad. The college is located with the campus arena and equipped with all the facilities provided and also executed in a way to provide the best atmosphere for the students. The college provides medical and health facilities to the students and staffs in case of related health issues as well as consists of 10 bedded sick room for them with modern equipped medical facilities along with 24 hour ambulance facilities and regular check-up camps are also conducted for monitoring their health. Along with these facilities yoga and gym facilities with proper trainers are also provided for student’s health and body maintenance and is well-appreciated by the students as well. The college has collaboration to different clubs and resorts nearby which gives opportunities to the students for swimming, badminton, baseball, TT, aerobics, hockey etc in which few are available inside the campus too. The students, staff and guests are offered with hygienic foods in canteen and hostel mess in an affordable price. The clinical trainings are given in NRR Hospital as well as Manthuja Charitable Hospital which is its own parental hospital with 150 beds and multi specialty with well-equipped infrastructures and good numbers of in and outpatients. Clinical facilities are also provided in Victoria Hospital, Vani Vilas Hospital, Lady Goshan Women’s Hospital etc. and the students are exposed in various rural and urban areas as prescribed by the Indian Nursing Council Syllabus. The college also provides placements facilities in good hospitals along with various training programs assigned by the college through the placement cell.
