In Adventist College of Nursing, the candidate is made to choose anyone of the branches of the study this college provides during the time of admission. The branches of study this college offers to the students are Branch I – Medical Surgical Nursing for 4 students, Branch II – Pediatric Nursing for 4 students and Branch III – Obstetrics & Gynecological nursing for 4 students.
The specialization is done by the nurses who work in patient care units, ambulatory care units, surgical centres, emergency care units etc. The nurses of this specialization deal with the health of adult patients. The nurses of this field are to study about medicines as well, as they are to look after the medication of the patients.
This area specializes in giving health care to infants and children. The nurses are given training in giving care to children or infants with health issues. To practice nursing of this area, the nurses needs to be a registered nurse with a bachelor’s degree.
This area of nursing deals with women in their age from puberty till menopause. The nurses of this field give care to women who have health issues regarding their reproductive system like during pregnancy, child labour, birth etc.
The nurses are to pursue a diploma or a degree related to women’s health and obstetrics to become OB/GYN nurses. Minimum of 2 years of experiences is needed to sit for NCC Inpatient Obstetric Nursing certification Examination and become a certified OB/GYN nurse.

- Minimum of 1-year work experience required certified under Indian Nursing Council.
- Minimum of 1-year work experience after B.Sc. Nursing/ work experience prior or after Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing
- Should be registered nurses and registered midwife of equivalent with any State Nursing Registration Council

Hostel
Adventist College of Nursing has the good facility of hostel for all the students who are staying far away from their home. This college provides a separate area for the stay for girls and boys. All the hostels are built with modern approaches to providing students with the best hostel experience during their stay. The area has its own mess facility where they provide best vegetarian foods with proper hygiene and nutrition is provided to the hostel students under hygienic conditions.
The hostel also has its two cricket cum football grounds, volleyball grounds, basketball ground and shuttle court where students are given to entertain themselves during the extra timing. Proper health facilities with a good dispensary and sick room are also available in the both of the hostels. Through which immediate treatment is given to the victim if something wrong happens.
